Treatment Expectations

Silk'n Edge™ session:

For some men, using Silk'n Edge™ could be first time encounter with a pulsed light  based unit for treatment at home. Silk'n Edge™ is easy to operate, and sessions are quick and efficient. During use it is common to experience the following:

1. The light pulse brings bright light but will not harm your eyes when using at non facial areas, special protection for your eyes is not necessary. When using on face it's better to tp prevent the light in your eyes.
2. The sound from the fan is the cooling mechanism for Silk'n Edge™ which makes noise like a PC fan. it's normal. 
3. The beep sound before or after each flash if to indicate when the machine is ready and charged to take another shot.
4. Adjustable level of the Silkn. It is recommended to enable adjacent flash of light to Automatic.
5. Feeling some warm tingling while using the machine? that is normal and comes due to the flash energy. we highly recommend to use low level of the power at least for the beggining of the sessions.Results:The effectiveness of the unwanted hair removal device can vary from person to person for several reasons. The shade of the hair, its thickness and where it is situated on the body, all affect the final result. Environmental factors can also have an impact.  Another influence on the effectiveness of the hair removal is the cycle of your hair growth, this is typically 17 to 25 months. At this time, several Silk'n Edge™ treatments might be needed if you want to get optimal and sustained hair removal results.

It is typical for the hair to seem as though it is continuing to grow, even after two weeks a head after a self-treatment with Silk'n Edge™. This apparent growth is referred to as ejectionand for around 2 weeks you’ll notice that the hair simply drop out or come out if you just try to pull it out easily. (Pulling these hairs is not recommended  – it is best to let them fall out naturally). There is also the potential for some of the hair which won't be affected after the first Silk'n Edge™ treatment as a result of missing a treatment or because of the stage in the hair growth cycle. Any remaining hairs can be treated again in subsequent sessions. For this reason, several treatments might be needed to achieve the greatest results.
